Hi, I’m Diane — The Pebble Gal.
What began as a simple love for beach stones slowly became something much bigger: a creative practice, a calming ritual, and a way to reconnect with nature in a world that rarely slows down.
I collect naturally tumbled pebbles from the shoreline and transform them into art — through photography, tactile experiences, and thoughtful compositions. Each stone carries its own history of time, tide, and transformation.
Pebbles aren’t just rocks — they’re portals.
Portals to creativity.
To memory.
To mindfulness.
The Steve’s Stones Project
Alongside my artwork, I created The Steve’s Stones Project — a sensory-based outreach initiative using hand-collected pebbles to spark comfort and connection for individuals living with dementia and for children who benefit from grounding, tactile experiences.
Because sometimes healing is beautifully simple.
Sometimes it looks like holding a stone in your hand - and feeling steady again.
Everything here is about slowing down, noticing the small things, and rediscovering beauty in what the tide leaves behind.
Thanks for wandering the Pebbleverse with me.
